On November 14, the public welfare activity titled “Drinking Water, Caring Source” Concerning Drinking Water Health of Primary and Secondary Students Across China jointly initiated by BOW and China Volunteer Service Foundation, stepped in Shandan County, Gansu Province; nanofiltration equipment with a value of 500,000 yuan were donated to local primary and secondary schools. Deputy county mayor Song Yongfu hosted the ceremony. Lin Rongsen (deputy director of Education and Sports Bureau of Shandan County) accepted the donation on behalf of recipient schools.

Since June 2015, Originwater has given positive response to the call for advancing drinking water safety in rural area launched by the Central Government, took water drinking safety for students and teachers of primary and secondary schools in the early-liberated, minority nationality, border and poor areas as its social welfare orientation, jointly initiated “Drinking Water, Caring Source” Public Welfare Activity with China Volunteer Service Foundation and Bishui Chuntian Foundation, went over 11 provinces and cities in Jiangsu, Shanxi, Shandong, Hubei and other places, donated campus nanofiltration water purification equipment with total value of 5million yuan and supplied safe and healthy drinking water for more than 100,000 students and teachers in primary and secondary schools.

The “Drinking Water, Caring Source” donation in Shandan was improved and optimized on basis of former donations, precisely donated campus water purifiers to the places and schools in desperately need.  

Water pollution is a social problem which may affect everybody’s health. Children are the hope of nation.
