Originwater launched new generation of intelligent integrated wastewater treatment system (CWT), to solve wastewater problem in rural area innovatively

Currently, water supply safety in rural area ofChinais poor; sewage treatment rate is far lower than that of urban area. Under the background of comprehensive environment improvement initiated by the country, rural water market has become strategic battlefield of water companies and promoted the upgrading of related products. As a company which is earliest engaged in rural water market, Originwater has steadily upgraded its intelligent Composite Water Treatment (CWT) which is a revolutionary product in rural water treatment field, put it into application and take first market chance. 



On October 13, core experts ofOriginwaterR&DCenterpersonally went to 7th China International Water Technology Expo & China International Membrane and Water Treatment Technology and Equipment Expo, presented and introduced Originwater’s second generation CWT. According to the report, as a new type of integrated high-efficient point source sewage treatment equipment, compared with its first generation, the containerized structure design of the second generation CWT is very distinctive; it consists of four basic modules and can realize free basic modules combination according to sewage purification requirements as well as actual field condition.

According to the report, Originwater, who became the leading enterprise in its industry by virtue of self-developed membrane technology, was the first hi-tech environmental protection enterprise who is optimistic about the prospect of rural sewage treatment prospect. At the early development stage, Orignwater dug first bucket of gold by developing innovative rural sewage treatment equipment CWT. The first generation CWT which was firstly put into application in rural area ofBeijingadopts membrane technology as core process technology; the output water meets Surface Water IV Standard and it is far better than other technologies. Meanwhile, due to the optimized integration, the equipment can realize intermittent operation according to water demand; for example, it can operate at the low valley of electricity price, saving energy consumption and operation cost to a large degree.

Except for technical innovation, Originwater also achieved mode innovation. The new treatment plant, Originwater adopts the mode of “enterprise builds plant, government supplies pipe network”, environment service provider adopts BOT mode to achieve uniform “region package”. For the plants already built by government, Originwater adopts mode of sewage treatment equipment package and entrusted operation. By these innovative modes, Originwater successfully explored a demonstrative way for rural water treatment. Originwater invested and built many typical rural water treatment projects such as Sewage Treatment Station in Shicheng Town of Miyun District inBeijing, Tanghekou Sewage Treatment Project in Huairou District, Chengjiazhuang Sewage Treatment Station in Mentougou District and so on; and they are the prototype of the current “CleanWaterVillage”mode. 

With the advancement of new rural construction in China, in order to solve the difficulties in rural sewage treatment more flexibly, Originwater also improved and updated the first generation of CWT. According to the report, except for ground type, the first generation of CWT also can be applied to underground sewage treatment station; it covers less land and adopts fully enclosed device, reducing the affects to surrounding environment. The second generation CWT makes further improvement in flexibility based on the aforesaid; it is designed as containerized type which is convenient for transportation and installation, cutting off all foundation construction costs. 

 Besides, its inner structure adopts modular design and can combine together freely according to treatment requirement. For example, if sewage treatment is just expected to meet discharge standard, then combination of biochemical +MBR+auto control module; the treated water can be used for virescence irrigation, toilet cleaning, car washing, ground cleaning and landscape use water and other non-drinking uses. For the fast treatment of black and fetid water, combination of large-sized MBR+DF+auto control modules can be used, that is, the mobile treatment equipment; the treated water meets Surface Water III Standard and it is the best equipment for treating black and fetid water. For the requirement of domestic sewage recycling and reuse in water shortage regions, biochemical+UF+DF+ auto control modules can be combined as a fresh water purifier; it can achieve the treatment of domestic sewage by quality and in batches; the treated water can meet diverse quality water demands such as irrigation, washing, drinking and etc.; it realizes the water recycling and ensures healthy drinking water for the water shortage regions, especially for Northwest China, guaranteeing quality water in good water cellar forever.

As a type of innovative solution to rural sewage treatment, Originwater’s first generation of CWT equipment has been used in more than 10,000 rural villages all overChina, and the total treatment capacity is nearly100,000m³/d.
